The Anderson Valley Education Foundation is community based and depends on community support. We rely on generous donations from individuals, families and businesses to fund our four programs.

An Old Time Fourth of July Celebration

Each year we stage a traditional family event at the
Mendocino County Fairgrounds.

The fun begins at noon with a parade and prizes awarded in a variety of categories. Afternoon activities include a bouncy house, games for children and adults, BBQ, drinks, huckleberry and apple pies, music, face painting, tug of war competitions, chicken clucking contest and much more. Local talented bakers provide delicious pastries for our popular cake auction.

Each year we present a theater event at the
Grange in Philo

A variety of presentations have been enjoyed by adults and students. The Oregon Shakespeare Festival and L.A. Theater Sports are examples of past events.
