Bio
Kathy Borst was born, raised, and schooled in California. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Cellular and Organismal Biology from the University of California at Santa Barbara. She got her Multiple Subjects Credential from Sonoma State University. She earned a Masters of Education from San Francisco State University. She also has secondary credentials in Biology and Mathematics. The only credential she actually uses in Math
.
In 2006 she had been teaching math for half as many years as she had been alive. Her age in 2006 was the same as the year of her birth (two digit!)
She loves teaching math, although she recently scared herself by calculating that she had graded over a quarter of a million papers and about 30,000 tests since she started teaching at Anderson Valley High School.
