Bio
Sarah Cornsweet was born in the Bay Area and moved to Sacramento at age 11, where she attended high school. She ventured out of California to go to college in Pennsylvania, but came back after her first winter and ended up graduating from University of California at Santa Cruz. She worked as a mail carrier in Oakland for many years before becoming a teacher in 1998. She taught in Oakland public schools for seven years and then decided that she'd had enough of city life. She moved to Anderson Valley and taught at the elementary school for three years before moving to the high school in 2008.
