My name is Jim Tomlin and I am the principal of Anderson Valley Jr./Sr. High School. The nature of my job is to promote the educational development of each student and the staff members. There are many primary duties and responsibilities to this job, but the following ones are the ones I consider the most important. I carry out all the duties that are directed by the superintendent, and I am responsible to the superintendent. I insure a clean, safe, and healthy school environment and maintain communication with parents in a positive manner. I am involved in the extra-curricular events and participate in the staff development and collegial meeting time. Work with the principal to ensure a consistent, fair, and timely enforcement of school rules and regulations and also assist in the supervision on transportation, maintenance and custodial staff to ensure effective use and maintenance of school building.
