Classroom Rules

There are 5 Basic Rules of behavior that you MUST follow if you want to avoid unpleasnat consequences.

Be Respectful To Others

• Be respectful toward your classmates, your teacher, and whoever is in the classroom.
• Everyone is welcome and deserves respect.

Be Safe

• This is a science class! Materials and equipment are expensive. So are hospital bills.
• Following all lab safety precaustions is mandatory.

Do Not Disrupt Learning

• Avoid distractive behavior that distracts or prevents others from learning.
• Wait until an appropriate time to ask who the football team is playing on Friday.
• Raise your hand if you have a question or want to contribute your ideas to a class discussion.
• If hands are not raised you should yield to the person who spoke first.

Clean Up After Yourself
Choose a Positive Attitude

• Your attitude is your choice!
• If you choose to have a positive attitude you will have a much more pleasant and rewarding experience in this class.
• If you choose to have a negative attitude you are more likely to have a negative experience.
