Classroom Rules
There are
5 Basic Rules of behavior that you MUST follow if you want to avoid unpleasnat consequences.
Be Respectful To Others
- Be respectful toward your classmates, your teacher, and whoever is in the classroom.
- Everyone is welcome and deserves respect.
Be Safe
- This is a science class! Materials and equipment are expensive. So are hospital bills.
- Following all lab safety precaustions is mandatory.
Do Not Disrupt Learning
- Avoid distractive behavior that distracts or prevents others from learning.
- Wait until an appropriate time to ask who the football team is playing on Friday.
- Raise your hand if you have a question or want to contribute your ideas to a class discussion.
- If hands are not raised you should yield to the person who spoke first.
Clean Up After Yourself
- Don't leave a mess for someone else to clean up.
- You will not be excused from class until your work area is clean.
Choose a Positive Attitude
- Your attitude is your choice!
- If you choose to have a positive attitude you will have a much more pleasant and rewarding experience in this class.
- If you choose to have a negative attitude you are more likely to have a negative experience.
