Empowering our Students to Succeed!

Primary Intervention Program

The elementary school has a Primary Intervention Program (PIP) providing support for Kindergarden through 4th Grade.  Students in PIP will meet weekly for 30 minute play sessions with a child aid.

The program is designed to:

  • Build student self-esteem and confidence
  • Help children build positive attitudes toward school and education
  • Create a positive connection with another adult figure at school
  • Increase the student's sense of security at school
  • Minimize off-task behaviors for improved learning
  • Prevent need for more intensive and specialized help in the future
